Payment & Cancellation Policies
General Policies
- Check-in time is 3:00 pm. If you arrive early, we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible. If you’re arriving later than 7 pm, please call or email us to make arrangements.
- Check-out time is 10:30 am.
- Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 9% Hotel Tax and 8% Resort Fee. The charges will be made in Belize Dollars (BZD.)
- Children of all ages are welcome, but pets are not allowed.
- Prices are based on double occupancy, the third and fourth guests each pay USD $25-$35 plus tax per night, depending on the unit. Unregistered guests or guests requiring a rollaway bed (if available) will be charged a guest fee of USD $50 per night plus tax.
- Under no conditions may the maximum occupancy of any unit be exceeded, except by a child under 3 who is sharing a bed.
- Children under 3 are free as long as they are sharing a bed.
- Any refunds made will be processed to the same credit card that was charged, for your protection.
Travel Insurance & Guest Responsibility
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance as an affordable and necessary way to protect their trip. Unexpected circumstances such as flight delays or cancellations, inclement weather, hurricanes, government shutdowns, or other disruptions do occur. As these events are beyond our control, Coconut Row Boutique Hotel cannot make exceptions to our Cancellation Policy. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that their travel plans are adequately insured.
Payment & Cancellation Policies:
Rooms & Packages
Payment: a deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking, with full payment to be charged within 31 days before arrival. Peak season reservations will be charged in full 90 days before arrival.
Cancellation:
- Cancellations 61 days or more from the arrival date will receive a full refund, minus a $100 per unit processing fee.
- Cancellations received 31-60 days before arrival date will receive a 50% refund. (The 50% deposit will not be refunded.)
- Cancellations received 31 days or less from the arrival date are non-refundable. (The whole amount of the stay will be forfeit.)
- Peak Season reservations are subject to a different cancellation policy – no refunds will be issued for cancellations or changes within 90 days of arrival.
- Packages are sold as a bundled rate, and no refunds or credits will be issued for unused portions, including meals, tours, or accommodations.
Changes in the reservation dates are considered a cancellation of the original reservation and are subject to the same policy.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip; please see our Travel Insurance & Guest Responsibility section for details.
Airport Shuttles & Other Pickups
Payment:
Shuttle reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking to guarantee confirmation.
Cancellation:
- Shuttle cancellations received 14 days or more before the arrival date will receive a full refund, less a 10% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received within 13-8 days before the arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
- No refund will be given for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival date.
Flight Delay or Cancellation Notice Required:
- We require at least three hours’ notice if your flight is delayed or cancelled, before our driver departs for Belize City. Failure to notify us in time will result in the full charge for the arrival transfer, as well as a waiting fee if the driver must wait more than one hour beyond the scheduled pickup time.

Waiting Delay Fees:
- For airport pickups, our driver will wait up to one hour after your scheduled arrival time at no additional cost. After the first hour, a waiting delay fee will apply.
For pickups at other locations (such as bus stations, boat terminals, or hotels), the waiting delay fee will begin at the scheduled pickup time if passengers are not ready for immediate departure.
Tours
Payment:
Tours must be paid in full at the time of booking to guarantee confirmation.
Cancellation:
- Tour cancellations received 14 days or more before the arrival date will receive a full refund, less a 10% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received within 13-8 days before the arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
- No refund will be given for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival date.
- If your tour is cancelled by Coconut Row Boutique Hotel due to inclement weather or any other reason, your tour payment will be refunded in full.
- Packages that include tours are subject to the Rooms & Packages Cancellation Policy, not the Tours Policy.
Boat Tours:
We will gladly refund your boat tour payment if we are unable to operate the tour due to unsafe sea or weather conditions. However, please note that we cannot guarantee perfect sunshine during your stay. While we always aim to schedule snorkeling and boat excursions during the best possible conditions, tours will proceed in light rain or overcast weather when it is otherwise safe to do so.
Tour Scheduling & Flexibility:
To provide the best possible experience for all our guests, Coconut Row Boutique Hotel reserves the right to adjust tour schedules based on weather, minimum participation, and logistical considerations. Whenever possible, we will group guests with similar tour selections so that each excursion can run efficiently and with a comfortable group size.
We always do our best to accommodate your preferred dates for each tour; however, some flexibility may be required to coordinate with other participants or ensure ideal conditions. If you have a fixed schedule, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
